This week, let's focus on getting enough water. "I know...I know..." you say back to me. But let's discuss this a bit more....
- Did you know that sometimes when you think you are hungry, it is actually because you are thirsty? So before you get a snack, have a drink.
- When you look at your skin this winter, does it look a bit ashy? I mean, yeah, you could throw some lotion on, but what if you hydrate from the inside out? Novel idea, ehh?
- Have you ever noticed how clear your skin gets when you are actually drinking enough water?
- Is your pee the color of lemonade? Not that you should drink it, but this is a sign that you are getting enough. The darker it is, the more dehydrated you must be.
- Coffee, soda, and tea do not count as water.
- The recommended amount is 8 cups a day. However, if you are exercising a lot, you need to increase this recommendation.
Drink some more water.
